Mainlink Axioma W1 LoRaWAN Ultrasonic Water Meter

The Axioma QALCOSONIC W1 is a high-accuracy LoRaWAN ultrasonic water meter available in 3/4″ and 1″ sizes for commercial, industrial, submetering, residential, and utility applications.

The W1 is designed to be deployed as part of an end-to-end connected smart metering solution. CHOOVIO can coordinate the meter hardware, LoRaWAN connectivity, MainHive monitoring platform, and API integration based on the requirements of the project.

For customers testing a small number of meters or using an existing LoRaWAN system, alternative integration arrangements may also be supported on a case-by-case basis.

Managed Metering Solution

For commercial and larger-scale deployments, the Axioma W1 can be supplied as part of an end-to-end smart metering solution with:

• Axioma QALCOSONIC W1 ultrasonic meters
• LoRaWAN gateway and network connectivity
• MainHive monitoring and data management
• MainHive API integration
• Project-specific account and deployment structure

MainHive software and API services are available through subscription arrangements based on the project size, integration requirements, and service responsibilities.

Existing Systems & Small Deployments

Customers purchasing a limited number of meters for evaluation or use with an existing LoRaWAN system may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

LoRaWAN device keys may be shared directly for eligible requests after the required customer information and meter serial numbers are provided.

Compatible existing gateways and LoRaWAN infrastructure may also be supported depending on the deployment architecture.

MainHive provides the data-management layer for connected Axioma W1 deployments and can support both direct monitoring and integration with existing business applications.

• Monitoring Platform: View connected meter data through the MainHive platform
• API Integration: Connect meter data with supported third-party applications and management systems
• Gateway Connectivity: Use appropriately configured LoRaWAN gateways connected to the required network infrastructure
• Customer Accounts: Dedicated account structures can be created for larger commercial, property management, HOA, IoT, and similar deployments
• Evaluation Projects: Limited MainHive access may be available for qualifying testing and evaluation projects

LoRaWAN device credentials can be coordinated by CHOOVIO for eligible customers.

For small-quantity or end-user requests, device keys may be provided directly on a case-by-case basis. To process a key request, the following information may be required:

• Customer or company name
• Customer contact information
• Axioma meter serial number(s)

Customers planning to connect the meter to their own LoRaWAN Network Server or third-party platform should contact CHOOVIO before deployment so the proposed architecture can be reviewed.

Important: Availability of device keys does not include access to proprietary device protocols. Commercial submetering and larger B2B deployments may require MainHive software or API services.
