The LPS8v2 Indoor LoRaWAN Gateway is an open-source LoRaWAN Gateway. It lets you bridge LoRa wireless network to an IP network via WiFi, Ethernet, or Cellular Network (via Optional 4G module). The LoRa wireless allows users to send data and reach extremely long ranges at low data rates.
The LPS8v2 is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN protocol. It supports different kinds of LoRaWAN Network Connections such as Semtech UDP Packet Forwarder, LoRaWAN Basic Station, ChirpStack MQTT Bridge, and so on. This enables LPS8V2 to work with most LoRaWAN platforms in the market.

An excellent gateway for the price. We found it to be stable in now several month of operation. The built in TTN and Node red server make it an ideal development platform. The firmware is at times finicky, as it’s all default SW from other developers such as Semtech, TTN and IBM (Node Red) but there is lots of documentation out there to find. For the price this is a powerful Gateway and as always, Dragino has well designed HW with open source SW preloaded.
