UG63 Mini LoRaWAN Gateway is an 8-channel lightweight indoor LoRaWAN® gateway. Adopting the SX1302 LoRa chip and high-performance CPU, UG63 supports connection with more than 2000 nodes and can cover 15 km in sight and about 2 km in an urbanized environment. With its compact size, it is ideally suited for offices, parking lots, campuses, hotels, exhibition centers, and many other indoor areas. It also applies to provide coverage for indoor blind spots.

UG63 Mini LoRaWAN Gateway has both integrated mainstream network servers (such as TTN, ChirpStack, AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN and etc.)

Blind Spot Coverage

Besides the general features of a LoRaWAN^® gateway, the Gateway Fleet makes UG63 particularly suited for providing network coverage for indoor blind spots.

I used this device in a small test application and so far its working really well. As with all Milesight products, the configuration user interface is very easy to use. I am using mqtt packet forwarding to a raspberry pi zero running ChirpStack OS and its seamless. Although this gateway has its own application server built in, its very simple and lacks some features of a full network server like ChirpStack. I have set up a few LoRaWAN devices so far and the user interface makes it very easy.
