I use this sensor on the “hot” cable coming into my house. It was easy to provision. It was easy to install – in fact I’m taking advantage of the magnets in the case to stick to the metal electrical panel in my house. You DO have to have your own batteries which is an exception to buying most sensors – just be aware – not an issue – but could cause a delay. Now that I have it – it is illuminating on how much energy certain things use. Very enjoyable to use. Not great at measuring FAST changing current as near as I can tell. My tech stack is DSL08 -> TTS on Linode -> Ubidots.
