The Dragino SE01-LB/LS is a LoRaWAN Soil Moisture & EC Sensor for IoT of Agriculture. It is designed to measure the soil moisture of saline-alkali soil and loamy soil. The soil sensor uses FDR method to calculate the soil moisture with the compensation from soil temperature and conductivity. It also has been calibrated in factory for Mineral soil type.
It detects Soil Moisture, Soil Temperature and Soil Conductivity, and uploads the value via wireless to LoRaWAN IoT Server.
The LoRa wireless technology used in SE01-LB/LS allows device to send data and reach extremely long ranges at low data-rates. It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing current consumption.
SE01-LB/LS supports BLE configure and wireless OTA update which make user easy to use.
SE01-LB/LS is powered by 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered + li-on battery it is designed for long term use up to 5 years.
Each SE01-LB/LS is pre-load with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations, register these keys to local LoRaWAN server and it will auto connect after power on.

Agree with mighty mule. The external button is a game changer. The newer box seems tougher and sturdier, but it might have just been my happiness about not taking the cover off. Choovio is doing a great job of sending out the credentials which saves effort on the setup. After importing all the credentials to the LNS and pressing the button the SE01 started up perfectly. I have the older LSE01 and it has been outdoor in a tough nasty environment for 2 years so these are very good enclosures. I made a “stake” assembly for it with a cord winder. This allows me to get one near each tree.

Much better! I started with the LSE01 and it works great, but happy to see them come out with the SE01 with the reset button on the outside not having to open the unit up. Although, the only time needing to do a reset is on the initial config. I use these on the Helium/Datacake network overriding my irrigation for auto watering in conjunction with the Dragino LT-22222-L. Unit and setup works great and does not fail. Haven’t been able to get the Bluetooth to work, not sure if Dragino has that together yet, I just use the AT commands. Great quality and simple setup if you are familiar with the Lorawan network.
