The Dragino SE01-LB is a LoRaWAN Soil Moisture & EC Sensor for IoT of Agriculture. It is designed to measure the soil moisture of saline-alkali soil and loamy soil. The soil sensor uses the FDR method to calculate soil moisture with the soil temperature and conductivity compensation. It also has been calibrated in the factory for Mineral soil type.
It detects Soil Moisture, Soil Temperature, and Soil Conductivity and uploads the value via wireless to the LoRaWAN IoT Server.
The LoRa wireless technology used in SE01-LB allows the device to send data and reach extremely long ranges at low data rates. It provides ultra-long-range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity while minimizing current consumption.
SE01-LB supports BLE configure and wireless OTA update, which make users easy to use.
An 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery powers SE01-LB; it is designed for long-term use up to 5 years.
Each SE01-LB is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. Register these keys to the local LoRaWAN server, which will auto-connect after powering on.

Much better! I started with the LSE01 and it works great, but happy to see them come out with the SE01 with the reset button on the outside not having to open the unit up. Although, the only time needing to do a reset is on the initial config. I use these on the Helium/Datacake network overriding my irrigation for auto watering in conjunction with the Dragino LT-22222-L. Unit and setup works great and does not fail. Haven’t been able to get the Bluetooth to work, not sure if Dragino has that together yet, I just use the AT commands. Great quality and simple setup if you are familiar with the Lorawan network.
