DS03A-CB NB-IoT/LTE-M Door Sensor

The Dragino DS03A-CB is an NB-IoT/LTE-M door sensor designed for Internet of Things applications. It detects door open/close status and sends data to an IoT server through an NB-IoT or CAT-M1 cellular network.

Users can monitor door status, open duration, and the number of open events through the connected IoT platform.

The DS03A-CB sends periodic data every two hours by default and can also send an uplink for each door open/close event. Event-based uplinks can be disabled so the sensor counts open events and reports them periodically instead.

The DS03A-CB also includes an Open Alarm feature, allowing users to configure an alert when a door remains open longer than a specified period.

Outdoor Cellular Door Monitoring

The DS03A-CB is designed for outdoor applications with a weather-resistant enclosure and industrial-grade battery suitable for operation across a wide temperature range.

It supports multiple uplink protocols, including MQTT, MQTTs, TCP, UDP, and CoAP, allowing integration with different IoT servers and applications.

The DS03A-CB supports Bluetooth 5.1 configuration and OTA firmware updates for convenient local setup and maintenance.

Built-in GNSS provides location reporting capabilities when configured.

The sensor is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCl2 battery for long-term operation and includes a Nano SIM card slot for cellular connectivity.

An optional version is available with a pre-installed SIM card and preconfigured IoT server connection for simplified deployment.
