WT30x Smart Fan Coil Thermostat
The Milesight Smart Fan Coil Thermostat WT30x is an advanced touch screen room thermostat, offering access to parameters such as system mode, fan mode and temperature setpoints. Valves and auxiliary electric heaters can be controlled using a relay or contactor system switch controlled by the thermostat. It can be used in a variety of building applications, including hotels, schools and offices

I really like the WT301 for my wood working shop. The biggest benefit of this device vs other thermostats is that the output control wire matches the input power voltage. This means that when I power it on 120VAC, I get 120VAC (5A) output controlled by the internal relay. Almost all other options have a 24VAC output.
Despite the control line being called a “valve” controller, it can be used for anything. I took the 120v control wire and powered a 120V coil on a contactor, which controls my 220VAC dual pole electric heater. I also set up my network server to send a downlink to the device to tell it the room temperature instead of using the thermostat’s internal sensor as it would be buried in an electrical enclosure in my insulated wall. The network server receives downlink commands via an MQTT bridge, which gets the external temp from a modbus IAQ sensor publishing its own temp readings to the MQTT broker.
The reason 1 star is missing: milesight’s IoT github publishes encoders and decoders for all their devices; these codes had to be heavily modified to work with the milesight UG63 gateway and the Chirpstack V4 network server.
